At Emerald Day Spa, your comfort, care, and confidence matter most. Below you’ll find answers to some of our most commonly asked questions. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to give us a call—we’re happy to help.


Where are you located?

Emerald Day Spa is located at 2807 Cedar Hill Road in beautiful Victoria, BC. We’re just minutes from downtown, on the #4 bus route, and easily accessible by public transit.

Do you have parking?

Yes! Free parking is available along the side of our building for all spa guests.


What should I expect at my first visit?

We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to allow time to relax and fill out any necessary intake forms. Your practitioner will walk you through the treatment and ensure you feel informed, safe, and comfortable throughout your experience.


What if I’m pregnant—can I still book a massage or spa treatment?

Absolutely—with a few precautions. We are happy to welcome pregnant clients in their second and third trimesters. Please let us know if you are pregnant at the time of booking so we can properly prepare.

For your safety and comfort:

  • We do not use essential oils during pregnancy treatments.

  • Massage is performed in a side-lying position with the use of supportive pillows and bolsters to ensure optimal comfort.

  • Some services may be modified or unavailable based on how far along you are and your health history—our team will guide you through safe options.

If you are in your first trimester, we recommend speaking to your healthcare provider before receiving any massage or body treatments.


Are your services gender-inclusive?

Yes. Emerald Day Spa is a welcoming and inclusive space for all genders and identities. We honour every guest’s comfort, boundaries, and preferences. Our team is trained in creating a respectful, safe, and affirming environment for everyone.


Is Emerald Day Spa scent-free?

Yes. We are a synthetic scent-free clinic. We use only fragrance-free and dye-free laundry detergents, and avoid synthetic air fresheners. While some of our products may contain 100% natural essential oils, we take extra care to accommodate sensitivities. If you have allergies or scent concerns, please let us know in advance and we’ll tailor your experience accordingly.


Do I need to undress for my treatment?

Only to your comfort level. Your modesty and privacy are always respected. You will be draped appropriately at all times, and only the area being treated will be uncovered. If you prefer to remain partially dressed, please let your practitioner know—we will always adapt to your needs.


Do you accommodate guests with disabilities or medical conditions?

Yes. Our spa is wheelchair-accessible and we are happy to make any accommodations needed to ensure your comfort and care. If you have any mobility concerns, medical conditions, or require assistance, please inform us at the time of booking so we can best support you.


Is the spa private and confidential?

Yes. We deeply respect your privacy and anonymity. Whether you’re coming in for a therapeutic massage or a personal moment of self-care, your information and visit remain confidential. Our team adheres to the highest standards of discretion and professionalism.


Can I bring my phone?

We ask that you please silence your phone and keep conversations to a minimum during your visit. To maintain a tranquil environment for all guests, we encourage disconnecting and embracing the calm.


What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly require 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee. This allows us to fairly accommodate all clients and respect the time of our staff.


Do you accept gratuities?

Gratuities are appreciated but never expected. If you’d like to show appreciation for your practitioner, you’re welcome to tip by cash, credit, or debit at checkout.


What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, debit, and cash.
