During your treatment your acupuncturist is in the room with you throughout the whole session, preforming Reiki on your head, which will make you feel comfortable and aid in your relaxation.
Here is a little bit of background information about our acupuncturist: Megan Dove graduated from the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program at Pacific Rim College located in Victoria, B.C., in 2013. She has been a Registered Acupuncturist with the province of British Columbia since 2012. Her approach to medicine recognizes that we are the sum of our mind, body, and soul, and that health comes from the wellness within all these levels of our being.
Her areas of experince include mental health, stress management, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, digestive disorders, pregnancy support, cancer support, and pain relief.
In addition to acupuncture, Megan has been formally trained in cupping and Reiki. Her goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for healing to occur. Stress blows open the doors to all illness.
Acupuncture appointments will be available on Monday afternoons and evenings.
